Kate bought a fabulous new home in Newcastle. For her 5% donation she chose the Chinese American Citizen Alliance Portland Lodge. Kate grew up in Portland, and she and her sisters were recipients of scholarships from the Chinese American Citizens Alliance. The Chinese American Citizens Alliance has over 100 years of history of continuous existence serving in a dual role as a social club and as a national non-partisan activist for Chinese American empowerment and community service.
