Showcasing Beatriz and Daniel's Choice - MEOW Cat Rescue
I helped Beatriz and Daniel find an amazing home in Renton. Beatriz and Daniel love their two cats, Uch and Soi, that they got from MEOW Cat Rescue. So for their charity, they chose MEOW Cat Rescue. MEOW stands for Mercer Island Eastside Orphans and Waifs. This no-kill shelter located in Kirkland, WA places 800-1000 animals into permanent homes each year. They are passionate about rescuing the countless cats that are found all over the city trying to survive.
MEOW envisions a day when society will be free from the dangers and nuisances of irresponsible pet ownership, when every pet born will be assured loving care all of its natural life and will never suffer due to abuse, neglect or ignorance. But until then, MEOW works to promote lifelong relationships between people and companion animals, providing shelter and care for each precious life until adopted into a forever home. Resources go to making sure these animals have a clean bill of health, are fed and have a clean living environment. MEOW is staffed primarily with caring and dedicated volunteers that know the gift of living with animal companions.
