5% To Charity - Sammamish Rowing Association

I care about what you care about, and I'm putting my money where your heart is! I'm donating 5% of every commission to each client's favorite charity.

Showcasing Katie and Mike's Choice - Sammamish Rowing Association

Katie and Mike love the Redmond area so much that they plan on retiring there. I helped them purchase a lovely condo on the water as their future pied a terre, and 1st apartment for their college-age daughter until then. They love being on Lake Sammamish and Mike rows with the Sammamish Rowing Association. So, when I asked them which charity they would like me to support, they chose Sammamish Rowing Association so that they could share their passion with others.

Sammamish Rowing Association has a scholarship fund to make rowing a more accessible and diverse sport. It's no secret that equipment, travel, and various fees and expenses are costly. With the help of donors, they set aside thousands of dollars for scholarships every season to ensure that no one is turned away from rowing regardless of income.

Rowing offers incredible opportunities for growth, development, and strong relationships. The lessons of leadership, teamwork, hard work, perseverance, and determination stick with rowers throughout their lives. Additionally, many of their junior rowers have doors of opportunity opened in higher education through the form of athletic scholarships or a more competitive collegiate application through their involvement in the sport. SRA has seen hundreds of middle and high school students go through our junior rowing program and their progress and growth has been and continues to be inspiring. When you buy or sell with me, you can support your favorite school, social justice organization, food bank, un-housed neighbor program, veteran group, or anything else you care about. How great is that? What will you choose?
